Green Flash, Easdale

'Green Flash' is one of three paintings I have left from my week on Easdale - one of the slate Islands off the West coast of Scotland - this summer. It was a rather wet and windy week; the skies were ominous shades of blue and purple and grey, as were the rocks and the seas.. save for the occasional bright flash of green where the waves churned up the water.
