Storm Front

Spring tides destroyed our beaches this year (and our harbour wall!) but the immensity and power of the waves was a joy to watch. Hundreds of metres of foamy white explosions, sucking and grinding at the shore. I’ve tried to do a ‘long exposure’ painting here to capture the depth of motion.
